Madut, Blankenship, Tepox earn Academic All-MSC accolades

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Garang Madut, Taylor Blankenship and Claudia Tepox were named Academic All-Mid-South Conference for Outdoor Track and Field, as announced this by the league office in advance of the conference championships that begin today in Williamsburg, Ky.


Hill takes second, four others place fifth at APSU Invite

LEBANON, Tenn. – Jordan Hill placed second in the 800-meters and Danielle Craft, Kalea Barnett, Xavier Knight and Josiah Scott all posted fifth-place finishes for the Cumberland track and field team on Saturday at the Austin Peay Invitational in Clarksville, Tenn.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Garang Madut finished ninth in the 3000-meters and freshman Jordan Hill placed 12th in the 800-meters, leading the Cumberland track teams over the weekend at the Hilltopper Relays in Bowling Green, Ky.


Barnett, men's 4x400 relay earn First Team All-MSC honors

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Kalea Barnett and the men’s 4x400-meter relay team earned First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors and Jordan Hill and the women’s 4x400-meter relay were named Second Team All-MSC, as announced recently by the league office. All-Conference accolades were based solely on results from the conference championships.


Indoor track ends for Barnett, Brooks at national championships

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Kalea Barnett placed 28th in the shot put and Martarious Brooks was 22nd in the 200-meters at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend in Johnson City, Tenn.

Craft, Madut lead CU track at Jessica Starks Open

LEBANON, Tenn. – Danielle Craft won the triple jump, finished second in the 60-meters and fourth in the long jump, Kalea Barnett posted a victory in the shot put and Garang Madut finished first in the 5,000-meters and was a part of the winning distance medley relay, leading the Cumberland track teams on Saturday at the Jessica Starks Open in Columbus, Ohio.
