LEBANON, Tenn.- Cumberland Athletics is eager to welcome our student-athletes back to competition. While we look forward to getting back on the field of competition, we continue to work through playing sports during these unprecedented times.
We hope to provide an opportunity for our extended Cumberland family to cheer on the Phoenix, but how they are able to do so will look differently. In an effort to help keep our campus safe and open for our students to enjoy all of the aspects of campus life we have adjusted our attendance guidelines for all sporting events.
The new Fan Attendance Policy applies to competitions played on the Cumberland University campus until further notice. Discussions are on-going for all competitions and those attendance policies will be adjusted as circumstances change.
One of the biggest changes is that all venues on the Cumberland campus will be limited to half capacity. Additionally, in accordance with county, state, and CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and large gatherings, spectators are expected to maintain six-feet apart inside each venue.
All fans attending games on campus will be screened prior to their entrance into the venue. Designated screening locations will be clearly marked outside all entrances. Screening will consist of a temperature check and a COVID-19 questionnaire.
In accordance with the Cumberland campus policy, those in attendance for athletic events on campus will be expected to wear a mask, or appropriate face covering, throughout the venues at all times.
We continue to work on a solution that will make your game day experience better. We are working with HomeTown Ticketing that will allow for fans to redeem or purchase tickets prior to their arrival to campus. Those tickets will be available for redemption or purchase at https://www.gocumberlandathletics.com/tickets/tickets/ during the respective window prior to each home event.
Faculty/staff and student IDs will be accepted for admittance for all home athletic events.
