Bulldogs headed to Illinois for NAIA Opening Round
LEBANON, Tenn. – Second-ranked Cumberland University will play in the 2010 Baseball National Championship Opening Round at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Ill., beginning Tuesday.
The Bulldogs are grouped in the five-team bracket with one familiar foe, Campbellsville University, as well as the University of St. Francis (IL), Robert Morris and Mayville State. The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, City of Joliet, Ill., and University of Saint Francis are the hosts for the tournament.
Cumberland will play at 7 p.m. CT against the winner of Robert Morris and Mayville State, who will play each other at 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday.
