Fourteen Bulldogs garner TranSouth Scholar-Athlete honors

LEBANON, Tenn. – Fourteen Cumberland baseball players have been named TranSouth Conference Scholar-Athletes, as announced this week by the conference office. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.00 grade-point-average or above through the Fall 2010 semester.

The TranSouth Conference recognized 89 total student-athletes from the nine league schools, with Cumberland garnering the second-most honorees. A full list of TranSouth Scholar-Athletes may be found at
