Troy Frazier begins his first season as a graduate assistant at Cumberland after completing an All-American career as a Bulldog in 2010.

Frazier was a First Team All-America selection as a senior, helping the Bulldogs win the 2010 NAIA National Championship. He batted .366 with 14 doubles, 22 home runs, 67 RBIs and 70 runs scored while starting every game, earning Avista NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team honors and First Team All-TranSouth accolades as well. He was earned TranSouth Scholar-Athlete honors for that year.

The Louisville, Ky., native played his freshman season at Western Kentucky and his sophomore and junior campaigns at Kentucky before transferring to Cumberland for his final year. He batted .327 with 14 doubles, three home runs, 35 runs scored and 25 RBIs in 51 contests at WKU in 2007 and combined for 10 doubles, five homers, 38 RBIs and 43 runs scored in 71 games and 165 at-bats while at UK.

Frazier was voted All-State as a junior and senior and First Team All-Metro and All-Region as sophomore, junior and senior at Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville. He batted .431 with 16 doubles, six home runs and 40 RBIs as a senior and .451 with 15 doubles, 11 home runs and 48 RBIs as a junior. He also lettered four years in basketball at PRP, leading the Panthers to the state tournament Final Four as a junior and senior and Elite Eight appearance as a sophomore.

Frazier received his bachelor’s in Fitness and Wellness from Cumberland in May 2011 and is currently enrolled in the master’s in Education program at CU.
