LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University will host a cheerleading camp for ages 5 and up on June 23-24 at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center on the CU campus. Camp is limited to the first 80 participants who register at www.CumberlandCamps.com.
Participants will learn new cheers, chants, dances, tumbling and stunts from the Cumberland University cheerleaders and staff. Camp is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day and costs $25 per person, which includes a camp t-shirt and lunch both days. Advance registration is required by 5 p.m. CT on Monday, June 20.
Campers should wear athletic shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes and have hair pulled back each day. Parents are invited to attend at 2:45 p.m. on June 24 to see a performance from the campers. All participants will also be invited to the September 17 Cumberland football game to perform with the Cumberland cheerleaders.
