132 student-athletes, athletic trainers named to Spring 2019 Dean's List
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University released a list of students who qualified for the Dean’s List for the Spring 2019 semester, with 132 student-athletes and athletic trainers achieving a 3.50 grade-point-average and above on all classes attempted for the semester.

LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and thirty current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 177th Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall. It marks the seventh straight year of more than 100 graduates for athletic department student-athletes and personnel.
REMINDER: CU accepting nominations for 2019 Sports Hall of Fame class
LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland University Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the Class of 2019 Sports Hall of Fame until Monday, April 1. Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other pertinent information about the nominee.
Four cheerleaders garner All-MSC accolades
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland cheerleaders Kalea Barnett and Krista Payne earned First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors while Virginia Lea and Courtney Spivey were named Second Team All-MSC, as announced recently by the league office.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Eight Cumberland cheer and dance team members were named Academic All-Mid-South Conference during a banquet Friday in Bowling Green, Ky., before the conference championships.

CU hosting 4th Annual All-Sports Camp on Sept. 9
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University and the Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce Sports Council are teaming up for the 4th Annual All Sports Camp for Wilson County residents ages 7-14 on Sunday, September 9 from 3-5 p.m. on the CU campus. Registration starts at 2 p.m. that day.

Fall sports take part in Leadership Day, community service projects
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland student-athletes for football, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s volleyball and cheer-dance all participated in Leadership Day and performed community service hours across Wilson County to begin the fall semester last Thursday.
