1990 CU Football Reunion

Cumberland University Athletic Department is hosting a 30-year reunion held on the home opener on September 5th versus Kentucky Christian. The event will include a dinner the night before.

The efforts for the reunion have been spearheaded by Dr. William Head, a former coach for the 1990 team.

The program was shut down in 1949 after a 41-year hiatus President Thomas Mills Jr. and Athletic Director Woody Hunt restarted the program. Up until the restart, Cumberland football was best known for the 222-0 loss at Georgia Tech in 1916. The opening home football game saw over 5,000 fans in attendance and was featured on the Today Show.

Cumberland would like to invite all players from the 1990 team to the reunion.

Please fill out the google doc attached below, so we can easily reach the players for more details.
