LEBANON, Tenn. – Sophomore Jarred Bradshaw finished 39th and junior Peyton Bell placed 84th for Cumberland bowling at the 2019 Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier on Friday at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
Individuals were required to finish in the Top 5 to advance to the NAIA Championships later this month.
Bradshaw knocked down 1,198 pins over six games, an average of 199.7, and just 53 pins from the Top 20. Bell posted 1,121 pins in his six games, a 186.8 average, while freshman Matthew Charlton finished with 1,085 pins, an average of 180.8.
A total of 174 competitors took part in Friday’s singles qualifier, with the Top 5 finishers compiling between 1,338-1,408 pins over the six games.
