Cross country inks pair from Gallatin

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University cross country coach Jared Klosterboer announced the signing of Spencer Rearick and Richie Palmeiri to scholarship papers for the 2013-14 academic year. Christian and Palmeiri are the first two signees for the Bulldogs for next season.

Rearick is a four-year letterwinner in cross country and three-time track letterwinner for coach Jason Frech at Gallatin High School. He was the District Track MVP in 2009 for the Green Wave. He is the son of Robert Rearick and Ginger Caldwell.

Palmeiri is also a track and cross country letterwinner for Frech at GHS. The Castalian Springs, Tenn., native is the son of Richard and Rebecca Palmeiri.
