Cross country adds two signees
Alesa Steiner (above) and Zeddy Jepkosge both signed scholarship papers with the Bulldogs for the 2013 season.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland cross country coach Jared Klosterboer announced the signings of Beech High School product Alesa Steiner and Young Harris College transfer Zeddy Jepkosge to scholarship papers for the 2013 season.

Steiner lettered three years in cross country and two years in track and field for coach Brice Askren at Beech. She has participated in the TSSAA State Championship Meet in each of the last two seasons and earned the Leadership Award twice. She is the daughter of Keith and Marcia Steiner.

Jepkosge hails from Eldoret, Kenya, and graduated from Moi Chuiyal in Eldoret, participating in cross country and earning Merit Awards. He attended Young Harris in Georgia, an institution transitioning to NCAA Division II, the last two years.
