The honor is reserved for students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.

Seckel named CU cross country coach

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University Director of Athletics Ron Pavan announced the hiring of Jim Seckel as the head coach for men’s and women’s cross country. Seckel has served as the cross country and distance track coach at Franklin Road Academy for the last two years.

Twelve CU programs named NAIA Scholar Teams

LEBANON, Tenn. – A school-record 12 Cumberland programs were recognized this week as 2013-14 NAIA Scholar Teams. To be eligible, teams must post a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution, with the team GPA including all eligible varsity student-athletes.
