Five cross country runners named Academic All-MSC

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland cross country runners Garang Madut, Taylor Blankenship, Michaela Postell, Alesa Steiner and Claudia Tepox were all named Academic All-Mid-South Conference on Thursday, as announced by the league office.

The Mid-South Conference Championships take place Saturday in Bowling Green, Ky.

Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average to be eligible for the Academic All-Mid-South Conference honor. A total of 34 women and 23 men from eight league institutions were named to the list.
