HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--Andrew Cullins and Luke Freeman each posted new personal records at the UAH Chargers XC Invite Saturday morning.
In another stacked field, Cumberland finished in 25th place as a team out of 33 teams. The field had several of the top NCAA Division II teams involved in the race.
Denis Kipligat was the first Phoenix to finish the race in 59th place with a time of 26:15.35. Joel Barlow came in just 18 seconds after Kipliogat, but nearly 90 sots behind him in 147th. The time was Barlow's best mark of the season.
Freeman crossed the line at 27:04:14 for his new best and Ethan Rhoden finished one place behind him at 27:04.45. Andrew Cullins' best time of his career came today at 28:03.84.
Aidan Crockett finished in 252nd place with a time of 28:19.10 and Jacob Harzbecker finished just behind him with a time of 28:29.09.
Ryan Riddle from Missouri Southern won the race individually with a time of 23:47.76 and Pittsburg State won the race as a team.
The men will head to Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 23 to compete in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
