Men's Golf sits in Sixth, Scullion in Second after Day One of Showdown at Legends
Tom Scullion is in second individually shooting three-under in round one and even through round two.

LEBANON, Tenn.--The Showdown at Legends kicks off the Phoenix 2023 spring schedule with the Phoenix in sixth place after day one in a stacked field. Tom Scullion is in second place individually to lead the Phoenix. 

Rounds one was completed while round two was not able to get all the way through lacking daylight to finish out the final two or three holes for the players. 

In round one, the Phoenix posted a +27 with 302 strokes, which put them in sixth place overall. Throughout round two so far, the Phoenix are at a +13, which moved them down the leaderboard two positions in sixth place position they held after round round. 

Lindsey Wilson leads the field by 10 strokes followed by Marian in second, the University of the Cumberlands and Taylor University tied for third, and Morningside in fifth.

Tom Scullion is currently in 2nd place after shooting a 69 in round one and an even par through 16 holes in round two. He is three strokes under par overall. In the first 18, Scullion fired five birdies and two bogeys in round one for his three-under. He is tied for the lead in the tournament in birdies with eight.

Christian Lindgreen is tied for 19th place after shooting a 75 in round one and a +4 through 16 holes in round two. He is seven strokes over par overall.

Seth Clayton is currently tied for 29th place after shooting an 80 in round one and a +3 through 17 holes in round two. He is eleven strokes over par overall.

Will Samuelsson is tied for 36th place after shooting a 79 in round one and a +6 through 16 holes in round two. He is thirteen strokes over par overall.

Domino Mollesand is tied for 42nd place after shooting a 79 in round one and a +7 through 16 holes in round two. He is fourteen strokes over par overall.

The Phoenix will pick up where they left off in round two before finishing the tournament on Tuesday.
