CU Men's Golf Sits Fifth at Bojangles Invitational

Lebanon, Tenn.-- Cumberland men’s golf sits in fifth place after day one of the Bojangles Intercollegiate in Venore, Tenn. 

The team shot a 311 in the first round and improved for a 294 second round finish. The 605 total puts them right behind Reinhardt University and one spot ahead of the University of Mobile.

Dalton States hold the first place slot after day one, with a 583 combined total. 

Seth Clayton led the Phoenix golfers with a 148 combined total over the two rounds, tying him for 11th place. William Samuelson totaled a 151, which tied him for 16th place, the second best finish for Cumberland. Tom Scullion tied for 18th place with a total of 152 and Domino Mollesand ended day one in 26th place after a 154 finish. 

Bringing up the back end of the Phoenix was Tomi Acotto, who finished tied for 55th place with a 164 total.
