Six Bulldogs named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Six Cumberland University men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball players were named NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes this week, as announced by the national office. Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average and above to be eligible for the award.

Women’s soccer players Simone Quinn and Michelle Ward, men’s soccer players Neil Howard and Bradley Williams and volleyball players Meghan and Mackenzie Gass were all honored by the NAIA. A total of 315 men’s soccer players, 492 women’s soccer players and 408 volleyball players were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Neil Howard – 4.00, Master’s Exercise and Sports Pedagogy
Bradley Williams – 3.54, Sports Management
Mackenzie Gass – 3.63, Health and Human Performance
