The Cumberland University Men's Tennis Team look to improve on their 2007 appearance at the NAIA National Tennis Championships with the addition of three new players to the spring 2008 roster. Transfers Slava Glebov and Roger Phantanak, with incoming freshman Sebastian Jonsson, will add not only new faces but new depth to the CU line-up.

The Bulldogs open the season in January on the road at Austin Peay State University, followed by a series of home matches indoors at Nashboro Village Athletic Club. This season marks Head Coach Bill Riddle's fifth season at the helm of the Bulldogs, and he sees the team getting stronger and deeper each year.

The 'Dawgs play host to the TranSouth Conference Tennis Tournament April 17-18 and then the Region XI Tennis Championships on April 24-25.
