LEBANON, Tenn. - Cumberland is ranked 18th nationally in the 2011 NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll released Tuesday by the national office, the first national ranking for the Bulldogs since the end of the 2008 season.

Cumberland improved to 4-1 this season with a 6-3 victory over Bethel University on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have already defeated 13th-ranked Lindsey Wilson and then 17th-ranked Martin Methodist this month.

CU takes on a pair of ranked teams this weekend, heading to No. 23 Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday and No. 22 Lee University on Saturday. It is the first ranking for Cumberland since April 30, 2008, the final poll of that season.
