Three tennis players named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. –Cumberland senior tennis players Felipe Oliveira, Emily Jacobs and Bea Mompó-Rebaque were named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the conference office this week. Student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade-point-average and be a junior or senior academically to qualify for the honor.
 
Oliveira posts a 3.82 GPA in General Business, while Jacobs has a 3.77 grade-point-average in Early Childhood Growth and Learning K-6 and Mompó-Rebaque carries a 3.80 GPA in Marketing.
 
Eighty men’s player and 115 women’s players nationally were recognized this season by the NAIA as national scholar-athletes. The full lists may be found here:
