LEBANON, Tenn. – Riley Kilian won the 10,000-meters for the women while Cornelius Kipchumba, Nate Mihnovich and Jerry Rojas placed in the Top 5 in the same event for the men Friday at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational in Owensboro, Ky.

Kilian posted a winning time of 41:08.60 in the event, ahead of Freed-Hardeman’s Brooke Simpson.

Kipchumba, Mihnovich and Rojas finished second, third and fourth, respectively, with times of 33:09.87, 34:51.03 and 35:16.03.

The four runners compete at KWC on Friday because there was no 5,000 or 10,000-meter race at the Hilltopper Relays on Friday or Saturday. Kilian, Kipchumba and Rojas all ran Saturday in other middle distance events in Bowling Green.
