Cumberland Track and Field competes at WKU Hilltopper Relays

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Cumberland men's and women's track and field programs competed in the WKU Hilltopper Relays on Friday and Saturday, featuring programs from across the NAIA and NCAA.  The men notched three top-five finishes as a team and the women recorded two top fives. 

Men: 

  • 1st - Astu Nyamidi- Triple Jump - 23-8
  • 3rd - Josiah Scott - Men's Hammer - 131-8
  • 4th - Ronald Ndlovu - Long Jump - 22.55

Women:

  • 2nd - Kalea Barnett - Weight Throw - 50-07
  • 4th - Sophiat Omizi - Hammer - 49-21

The teams will compete at the Mid-South Outdoor Conference Championship in Williamsburg, Ky. on Apr. 25-26.
