Lay named MSC Freshman of the Year; Six garner All-Conference Accolades
LEBANON, Tenn.--Anna Lay is named the Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year while six Phoenix garner All-Conference accolades, announced today by the league office. Lay earned First Team All-Conference honors while Ashley Evans, Madison Koczersut, and Abby Chappell were named to the Second Team. Ashtyn Blair and Jacey Hatfield were Honorable Mentions.

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland University Athletics hosted their second annual Awards Night in Alumni Hall on Sunday night giving honors and recognition to the tremendous contributions of our student-athletes during the 2022-23 year.
Softball earns No. 5-seed in MSC Tournament set to begin Wednesday
LEBANON, Tenn.-- Mid-South Conference officials announced the MSC Softball Tournament bracket on Saturday following the conclusion of the regular season with Cumberland earning the No. 5-seed. The Phoenix will play 10-seed Tennessee Southern in a single-elimination game for a chance to advance to the double-elimination bracket starting on Thursday.
