LEBANON, Tenn. – Due to continuing rain in the St. Catharine, Ky., area this morning and forecasted this afternoon, Cumberland’s softball series at St. Catharine College has been canceled for Thursday and the rest of the weekend. The two teams will reschedule for the final week of April before the conference tournament.

Mid-South Conference regulations stipulate that softball teams must play at least one game against all teams in the league and complete 75 percent of the conference schedule. When visiting teams stay the night for the scheduled two doubleheaders, the games must be played on consecutive days.

Cumberland next plays Tuesday at home against ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson starting at 2 p.m.
