Volleyball loses on road to St. Catharine

LEBANON, Tenn. – CU dropped its third straight road game Tuesday night at St. Catharine College in St. Catharine, Ky. The Bulldogs upped their point total in each game but lost in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-16.

Mackenzie Gass led Cumberland with eight kills on the night, and Jacklyn Munoz contributed four. Desirae Burris tallied six assists, and Brooke Bowers had 14 digs.

For St. Catharine, Rebecca Just totaled 12 kills, Chelsea Wichman had 35 assists, and Randa Murphy registered 20 digs.

The Bulldogs are back on the road tonight, facing Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tenn., at 7 p.m. CT.
