Cumberland University got off to a slow start as they only led by eight at the half, but they scored 53 points in the second half to defeat Mid-Continent by a score of 86-56. Renae Williams led the way with 16 points, followed by Lucie Luprichova (14) and Keshia Brown (13). CU improves to 13-12 on the season, and they will next be in action on Feb. 11 as they travel to Jackson to take on Union University. The game will be played at Jackson Christian School, and tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CST.
