Watson garners Mid-South Conference Second Team

LEBANON, Tenn.- Senior guard Kerrice Watson garners Women's Basketball Mid-South Conference Second Team honors as announced by the league office at the conference banquet in Bowling Green.

Watson led the team in scoring this season averaging 11.2 points per game, scoring in double figures  17 times. The Bartlett, Tenn., native posted a career-high 24 points in an overtime win over Life University at home on January 25th. She added 23 points against Voorhees College in the Rosa Stoke Classic and 21 points against Asbury. 

Watson ranks 22nd nationally and fourth in the Mid-South Conference in three point field goal percentage, 39.8% this season. She has hit at least four three pointers in four outings this season.  

She also recieved the team's Champion of Character honor as well as making the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Academic Team.

Joined Watson on the Mid-South Women's Basketball Academic Team is Katherine Griffith, Mackenzie Trouten, Cassaundra Whitworth, and Anna Worley.
