Mastin and Rivera set new PRs at UAH Charger XC Invite

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--Pheonix women's cross country finishes 21st in another stacked field at the UAH Chargers XC Invite Saturday morning.

India Mastin and Daniela Rivera set new personal records in the race as Mastin led the team with the fastest time at 19:21.03. Sasha Petrova finished nine spots and nine seconds behind Mastin for a time of 19:30.10.

Elise Krone crosses seven seconds after Petrova in 132nd place and Rivera posted a time of 19:59.92. Hope Britt was the last Phoenix to cross the finish line at 22:10.05.

Celine Ritter from Lee University won the race with a time of 16.47.09 en route to helping Lee win the event. 

Cumberland will compete next on October 23 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
