Agee ties for 18th in final fall tourney

LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Allyson Agee carded a second-round 85 and tied for 18th overall, leading the Cumberland women’s golf team at the Univ. of Mobile Fall Classic at Azalea City Gold Club in Mobile, Ala.
 
Agee posted rounds of 84 and 85 in the two-day event, tying for 18th with a score of 169 on the par-72, 5,821-yard course. The Dyersburg, Tenn., native posted the best scores for the women’s team in three of four fall events, placing second, fifth and 25th in three previous tournaments. Agee played the par-fives in three-over for the tourney and posted 18 pars, seventh best in the field.
 
Freshman K.C. McGinley registered a second-round 93, tying for 27th overall with a two-round total of 179. The Savannah, Tenn., native finished in the Top 30 in all four fall events, placing third, seventh and 27th in three previous tournaments.
 
Freshman Sarah Beth Foote carded a second-round 100 for a two-day total of 206, finishing 37th overall.
