Agee shoots 84 in first round at Mobile

LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Allyson Agee shot an opening-round 84 and fellow frosh K.C. McGinley turned in an 86, leading the Cumberland women’s golf team at the Univ. of Mobile Fall Classic at Azalea City Golf Club in Mobile, Ala.
Agee shot a first-round 84 on the par-72, 5,821-yard course, a municipal tract less than a mile from the Univ. of South Alabama campus. The Dyersburg, Tenn., native shot 42 on both nines, posting 10 pars in her round and tying for 17th in the field of 40.
McGinley carded an opening-round 86, tying for 23rd in the field, while freshman Sarah Beth Foote shot 106, placing 38th heading into Tuesday’s second and final round. The tournament is the final event of the fall season for the Bulldogs.
