LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Katie Legge, Allyson Agee and Kayla Smith took the top three spots, with Legge winning individual medalist honors and the Bulldogs claiming the team championship Friday at the Union University Fall Invitational at Jackson National Golf Club in Jackson, Tenn.

Legge posted a three-over par 39 on the back and carded an 83 overall, two strokes ahead of Agee and Smith. The Portland, Tenn., freshman birdied the par-3, 165-yard 13th hole and the par-5, 513-yard 17th hole and collected five pars in her round.

Agee shot 85 and was even after seven holes before making a bogey at eight and then a double bogey on nine. She recorded two pars on the back nine.

Smith also shot 85, carding four pars and a birdie on the eighth on the front nine and three more pars on the back. Lindsey Taylor tied for seventh (95) and Sarah Beth Foote tied for 11th (98) after shooting 40 on the front nine but struggling on the back.

Cumberland plays next at the TNU Fall Invitational at Old Hickory Country Club on October 10-11.
