Women's golf ranked 23rd in latest NAIA Coaches' Poll

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland moved up one spot to 23rd in the most recent NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll published last week by the national office.

The Phoenix placed second and junior Morgan Stuckey won individual medalist honors this week at the Lindsey Wilson Spring Fling in Columbia, Ky. Cumberland has finished second at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational, sixth at the Skyhawk Invitational and third at the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational over the last six weeks.

Three other Mid-South Conference teams appear in the poll, with the University of the Cumberlands eighth, Campbellsville University 12th and Lindsey Wilson 25th. Cumberland hosts the Phoenix Invitational April 11-12 at Windtree Golf Club in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., in the final regular season tournament of the year before the conference championships take place April 24-26 in Bowling Green, Ky.
