Strode, Stuckey garner NAIA Scholar-Athlete accolades

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland juniors Savanna Strode and Morgan Stuckey were named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced during the NAIA Championships last week by the national office. Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average and above to be eligible for the award.

Strode, a Celina, Tenn., native, posts a 3.68 GPA in Nursing while Stuckey, a Milan, Tenn., native, carries a 3.96 in Accounting. A total of 174 student-athletes from around the nation were honored by the national office.
