Eastern Illinois has one national qualifier returning at 174. Head coach Jarad Swint said "When the University of Illinois called and asked if we wanted to dual, I could not pass up an opportunity like that. Even though we wrestle them the day after Indiana , Gardner Webb and Eastern Illinois , the opportunity to wrestle these teams is what I want for my guys. I am also very excited for our team to compete in our first national duals, to host regionals for the first time, and to have eight home events."
