Bulldogs Move to Fourth in Regional Rankings

Cumberland University's wrestling program moved up one spot in the NAIA East Regional Poll to fourth, in a region that produced 28 All-Americans in 2007 out of the possible 80. The Bulldogs have seven wrestlers ranked in the top six. Freshman Joshua Chappa is ranked second, and junior Desean Willis is ranked third in the region at 125; Eddie Sanchez at 141 moved into the rankings this week as the sixth-ranked wrestler; sophomore Corey Bleaken dropped one spot to second; sophomore Kurt Hamilton at 174 moved into the rankings this week as the sixth-ranked wrestler; Powers dropped one spot to third after a loss to All-American Tanner Wolk from McKendree and freshman B.J. Stewart at 285 is ranked fifth.
