Hunt, Shoultz named Mid-South Scholar-Athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s Zeke Hunt and Andy Shoultz were named Mid-South Conference Scholar-Athletes at the recently completed conference championships in Williamsburg, Ky. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average to be eligible for the award.

Hunt, a sophomore from Dacula, Ga., has a 3.78 GPA in Engineering Science at Cumberland and Shoultz, a senior from Petersburg, Ind., carries a 3.68 GPA in Biology. A total of 18 student-athletes from five Mid-South Conference institutions were honored.

The Bulldogs next complete February 18 at the NAIA East Qualifier in Williamsburg, Ky.
