Bulldogs sign Crispin, Schneider
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland women’s soccer coach Jeff Loucks announced the signings of Ashley Schneider and Mandie Crispin to scholarship papers for the 2009-10 academic year, the fourth and fifth signees for the Bulldog program this year.
Crispin hails from Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Oakland High School where she played four years for the Patriots and was named the team’s Most Improved Player one season. She also lettered two years in cross country, earning MVP honors from the Daily News Journal during her freshman campaign.
Schneider attended T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, N.C., scoring more than 50 goals for the Rams during her career. The Rams will play in the third round of the North Carolina state playoffs Wednesday versus King Mountain High School.
Schneider and Crispin join Gold Coast, Australia, native Louise Norton, Herefordshire, England, native Simone Quinn and Mt. Juliet product Morgan Shaffer in this year’s signing class.
