LEBANON, Tenn. – Mackenzie Keele scored her first career goal but Lyon College tied the match two minutes later and netted the game-winner in the 87th minute in a 2-1 victory over Cumberland in women’s soccer action Saturday in Batesville, Ark.

The Bulldogs (7-2-0, 0-2-2 TranSouth) allowed two goals for the first time all season, as keeper Elizabeth Surdam made 10 saves for CU. Lyon (5-6-1, 1-1-0) posted a 21-7 advantage in shots, including 12-4 in the second half.

Keele’s goal in the 66th minute gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 advantage, but Chandler Rea scored on an assist from Anja Klotzle two minutes later to knot the match at one. Lea Pascal netted the game-winner at 86:03.

Lyon goalie Stephanie Spiteri had just three saves for the Scots.

Cumberland plays at King College at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and hosts Oakland City University at 3 p.m. next Saturday at the CU Soccer Field.
