LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Larissa Akari Miura and junior Courtney Schaub both split singles matches and the duo combined to win their only doubles match at the Patriot Fall Classic on October 9-10 in Williamsburg, Ky. The tournament concluded fall action for the Bulldogs.

Akari Miura defeated Centre College’s Karolyn Hays, 6-3, 6-4, but dropped a 6-2, 5-7, 8-10, decision to Neesha Thirumalaichelvam from the Univ. of the Cumberlands.

Schaub posted a 6-4, 6-3, triumph over UC’s Donna Strong but lost 3-6, 4-6, to Centre’s Lauren Dever.

Akari Miura and Schaub won their only doubles outing, 8-1, against UVA-Wise’s Whitney Bolling and Megan Buchanan.

Freshman Lindsey Gaither dropped both of her singles matches, 6-4, 7-5 to Centre’s Alex Toldorf and 9-8 (3) to UC’s Brittany Wils.
