CU signs Gallatin's Wilson
Gallatin's Abby Wilson signed scholarship papers with the Bulldogs for the 2011-12 academic year.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University tennis coach Bill McCormick announced the signing of Gallatin product Abby Wilson recently to scholarship papers for the 2011-12 academic year.

Wilson is a four-year letterwinner for the Green Wave, earning MVP honors in District 9-AAA the last three seasons. She has won the district doubles title all three years and reached the region finals.

Wilson is the Key Club President at GHS and also is an officer in the National Honor Society and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her mother, Keya, is the tennis coach for the Green Wave and her father, Mark, is a long-time teacher and coach at GHS. Mark has also been a member of the Cumberland football coaching staff the last two years.
