127 named to 2016 Spring Dean's List
LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and twenty-seven Cumberland student-athletes, department personnel and athletic training majors were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2016 semester, as released this week by the University.
Sepulveda, de Souza named ITA All-Americans
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s Angelica Sepulveda and Tarsha de Souza were named ITA All-Americans, as announced Thursday by the national governing body of collegiate tennis. Twenty singles and 18 doubles players were honored by the ITA.

116 current, former student-athletes graduating Saturday
LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and sixteen current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 174th Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall. It marks the fourth straight year of more than 100 graduates for athletic department student-athletes and personnel.

Ten CU squads receive NAIA Scholar-Team Award
LEBANON, Tenn. – Ten Cumberland University squads received the NAIA Scholar-Team Award recognition this week, as announced by the national office. Teams must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution to be eligible for the award, with all eligible varsity student-athletes factored into the team GPA.
