No. 17 Women's Tennis loses to Marian, 5-2

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland women's tennis drops a 5-2 match to 25th-ranked Marian.

Marian captured the doubles point despite Ainhoa Garrido Garijo and Marcela Cordeiro winning their doubles bout.

Garijo Garrido won at No. 1 defeating Betija Dusele in straight sets and Jessica Hernandez picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win over Katharina Bopst at No. 2. Carly Earnhardt took her match to the third set, but fell in tiebreaker sets in the third set. 

Ksenija Dmitrovic, Ana Maria Collozos, and Alexendra Leisibach each lost their singles match in straight sets.

Cumberland will travel to Freed-Hardeman on Friday.
