LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland women's tennis signs Valentina and Juanita Mendez out of Colombia to scholarship papers for the 2022-23 academic year.

Valentina and Juanita will come to Cumberland after attending Instituto Moreno del Castillo out of Bogota, Colombia.

They will both pursue degrees in Biology, Valentina has goals of pursuing a master's degree and possibly a doctorate degree to help build an attractive resume that will open up many doors in her future. Juanita also has ambitions of getting her master's degree or getting a second degree in a different field of study after graduation.

Valentina and Juanita are the daughters of Angelica Torres and Oscar Mendez.
